Education: Uncover the fort and park’s secrets
The ecology, natural history and curious stories from Coalhouse Fort and Park are brought to life through our education programme.
During school visits children will have access to the inside of the fort and an education room on site. In the park there is an extensive area of meadow, marshland and woodland for children to immerse themselves in and engage with the outdoors.
School visits cater primarily for Primary and early stage Secondary Curriculums. Tailor-made programs can be made to fit in with a topic or subject covered by a specific school at any year group with enough advance notice.
Take a look at our extensive programme of activities below which link to our Literacy, Maths, History, Geography and Science curriculums.
